It is not only Tibet which has witnessed unrest in the recent weeks.
The Financial Times mentions: "Beijing has underlined its concern that an economic slowdown could lead to social unrest in China, with the country’s security chief urging local officials to do more to prepare for the 'negative effects of the market economy'."

Dharamshala: Tenzin Rabgyal is a man with a democratic plan. The 31-year-old MA student of public administration, and volunteer campaigner for Lobsang Sangey's Kalon Tripa campaign, aims to found a new political party - the People's Party of Tibet (PPT) - in an attempt to create a two-party system in the arena of the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA).

Dharamshala: Students for a Free Tibet (SFT) is an international organization of young people who support the Tibetan movement. "Through education, grassroots organizing, and non-violent direct action, we campaign for Tibetans' fundamental right to political freedom," their website asserts.
